What our customers say

I can’t thank Gayle enough for looking after my Lola-Mae whilst I went on holiday. Lola clearly had the best week as she didn’t want to come home From all the great pics Gayle sent Lola obviously made herself at home there!! I would highly recommend Gayle as she is so professional and loves dogs and they love her Thank you Gayle. I think Lola had a better holiday than me!!

Amanda & Lola Mae

I think my fur babies might love Ali more than me . Rocky’s bum almost wriggles off his body when Ali arrives to collect them . Frankie and Rocky love walking with Ali and the other pooches. Frankie loves a good run and then staying nice & close to Ali’s heel and the tasty livercake . Rocky runs around cluelessly but patient Ali always knows where he is . I get adorable videos / photos of their escapades.

Elizabeth & Franky & Rocky

Gayle. Is. Amazing!! I honestly can't reccomend her enough! She is friendly, professional and really takes time to get to know you and your dog.

We had difficulties with our pup and separation anxiety and Gayle has supported us the whole way by adapting plans and thinking of new ways to support her. You can tell she genuinely loves and cares about the dogs she walks (the feeling is VERY much mutual) and I feel so happy knowing my pup is safe with her.

Demi & Lilo

So flexible and helpful. They pick up and drop off at different locations dependant on where I am working. I would be lost without them

Frequently Asked Questions

Hopefully we can answer most of your questions here, but if in doubt email gayle@whoswalkingme.co.uk or call 07825 183242 for more information

How many dogs are walked at one time?

whoswalkingme.co.uk believe dogs have more fun if they can play and interact with other dogs. Groups are carefully selected with breed, age, sex and personality in mind and can be discussed with the owner beforehand. We follow all guidelines set out by the council or landowners.

How much do you charge?

See our detailed pricing above, but for a tailored package or for more information call us on 07825 183242.

Will I meet my walker?

Gayle will carry out an initial meet and greet so that we can allocate the right dogs to the right walkers and packs. We try to keep to the same walkers where we can but to cover holidays and flexibility it may be any one of the team that walks your dog on a particular day.

Can I use more than one dog walker?

Of course you can but our policy at whoswalkingme is that we have chosen not to walk dogs that are in care with other walkers. The main reasons for this are not only do we have the ability to cover all eventualities you will ever need, but we find dogs prefer consistency and issues can develop where there isn't a full audit trail on activities and potential injuries.

Do you arrange picking up and dropping off ?

We collect your dog from your home/place of work and then return them after their walk . Traffic and dogs can be quite erratic at times so please bear in mind we may be a little early or late at times. If you have booked in a walk using our online system we will be there as soon as we can. For any specific requests please give us a call beforehand.

Are you insured?

Yes. whoswalkingme.co.uk and all of our walkers are fully insured, this includes key cover. Feel free to ask to see a copy of our insurance certificate.

Do I need to be at home when you collect or pick up my dog?

No. Most clients are comfortable sharing a set of keys with whoswalkingme.co.uk to enable us to collect and drop off your dog even if you are not home. An alternative to this is to fit a keysafe at your property which we can help arrange if needed.

Do you walk weekends and bank holidays?

Unlike a lot of other local walkers we work 365 days a year. We have a number of staff that allows us to cover holidays and such like. Weekend and Bank holidays walks are limited and are on a first come first served basis, and priority is always given to current weekly walkers.

What do I do if I need to cancel a service?

For Walks, please use the online system and cancellations can be made right up to 7pm the night before the walk or telephone giving at least 24 hours’ notice, for no charges to apply. In the event you need to cancel on the same day then call 07825 183242. Should we be unable to access your property as arranged to carry out the walk then the service will be charged as normal. Please note that boarding deposits and full payments are non refundable and non transferable. However should you wish to cancel after a non refundable deposit has been paid, you can do so giving us 7 days notice before the commencement of the booking to avoid paying the remainder of the balance.

What happens in the case of an emergency ?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately call and notify you. In the original consultation, we ensure that we have all the family emergency contact details. If veterinary assistance is needed, we will take your dog to your named vet or, depending on the circumstances, to the nearest possible one.

Will my dog be supervised at all times?

Yes. Your dog will be under constant supervision by one of whoswalkingme.co.uk experienced dog walkers, and will NEVER be left unattended.

We do you walk?

We will cater to your dog’s needs and current walking locations including, but not limited to: Crickley Hill, Brizen Fields, Dowdswell, Leckhampton Hill, Cleeve Hill. In addition we now have access to 300 acres of private farm land away from traffic.

Is your private land secure?

Unlike many secure dog parks our fields are not fully enclosed due to the size. We feel rather than restricting your dogs play to in some cases less than an acre our use of 300 acres gives the dogs more chance to enjoy all sorts of surroundings including woodlands, meadows and ponds. Whilst the fields are located away from roads, we cannot guarantee that you dog won't be spooked by nature. Dogs will be dogs and they love to explore. We always discuss your dogs habits before any walking and ask the owners to make us aware of any issues at home that might affect behaviour. Where we deem necessary we have our own trackers which give us real time information for high risk dogs.

Does my dog need to be neutered or spayed?

This can be discussed during our initial consultation, each dog will be considered separately for walking, but we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any dog. For boarding we do not take un neutered and un spayed dogs.

Do you take bitches in season?

Unfortunately we cannot take dogs in season on group walks, however if possible we may be able to arrange individual walks at this time, so please contact us for more details.

What security measures do you have in place?

Your key will be kept secure and away from personal information and no key can be identified to any property. In the event of your key being lost or stolen we will advise you immediately. Your personal information will never be sold or discussed with any 3rd parties in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

What happens if my dog doesn't get on with another dog?

We carefully select which dogs will walk together, if we find an imbalance within the group we will switch accordingly and inform you of our decision. We want all of our dogs to enjoy their walk.

We have just got a puppy, what services can you provide for us?

Puppies usually have to go out every 2-3 hours. For example if you are gone for 8 hours, we will come over twice during the day and let the puppy out, feed and cuddle the puppy. Having a dog walker for a puppy makes training much easier, we will work with your puppy to heel, sit, stay, etc. We will also be able to introduce them to other dogs, once they have received their vaccinations.

How are my dogs transported?

We have fully insured vans, which have dog guards and cages fitted. Each cage has non slip mats to make the journey to the walk as safe as possible.

I only require adhoc occasional walks. Is this something you can help with?

Yes. We are happy to provide services as and when you require, assuming we have diary availability but having a number of walkers working for whoswalkingme we are normally able to accommodate your needs. Our online booking system gives owners the ability to book and cancel services right up to 7pm the day before. We recommend that you give as much notice as possible.

My dog is aggressive towards other dogs can I still book them in to a group walk?

Not during our group walks as they are not suitable for an aggressive dog to be on. Other solutions may be available so please contact us for more information. .

Do you offer boarding services?

We have a limited number of home boarding spaces and currently hold a 5 star council licence issued by Tewkesbury borough Council. Due to high demand for spaces and in order to accommodate or regular walkers we do not board dogs we do not walk. If you would like to be considered then please contact us for a meet and greet. Please not any new boarding services will be subject to a payable trial stay to endure it suits all parties.

What happens in bad weather and heatwaves?

In bad weather we get wet!! We will clean and dry your dog off as much as possible and we have a doggy jet wash on board the van. We do ask that you leave out a towel out to help us dry them off. In the event that the weather becomes dangerous we will endeavour to come up with a suitable solution so that you dog has some level of exercise whilst you are at work and will notify you in advance of this happening.

Do you walk dogs off lead?

It depends on what you want- but generally yes! If your dog is a little bit rusty on their recall then we can keep them on a long lead and let them run and play in safety! We will only let your dog off lead once we have written consent and it is safe to do so. We also have a number of pet trackers that we use for our own benefit,

Can you administer my pet's medication?

Whoswalkingme.co.uk are happy to administer medication for your pet(s), in accordance with your written instructions.

Do you cater for all breeds of dog?

As long as the dog is not on the banned list we take each dog on its own merit and not on reputation of particular breeds. We meet all dogs before we walk them and each new dog is subject to a trial period. Any instances of aggressive behaviour will be investigated and we reserve the right to refuse to walk any dog.

Do you use pet trackers?

We now have a number of GPS pet trackers available to use on more nervous dogs giving us live real time locations when needed. These trackers are for our benefit and involve no extra charge to you. If you wish us to use your own tracker then your can purchase one through our Partners page on our website.
